Map & Imagery Library
Our collections range from recent aerial photography to antique maps, and contain approximately 500,000 maps, 300,000 aerial photographs and satellite images, 8,000 atlases and reference books, as well as a growing number of geospatial datasets. It is one of the largest academic map libraries in the United States and specialties include Florida, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
During Fall 2020, the Map & Imagery Library will be open by appointment. We are still providing reference assistance and will work to provide access to resources when possible. Thank you for your patience and support.
MapVault* delivers online streaming access to authoritative map series from all over the world. Use MapVault’s platform to easily view map series, or download the data as layer files for use in GIS software. *Users must be logged in to the UF Proxy Server or on a campus computer to get access to the database.
